DON'T MISS THE BIG THINGS THAT HAPPEN AT LITTLE SHELTER!
Every day, big things "new and exciting" are
happening at Little Shelter. This week, a reporter
from WABC-TV interviewed
Little Shelter's top-notch veterinarian Dr. Liguori
about weight gain during the holiday season — in
dogs and cats, that is!
Richard Belzer, Detective Munch to Law and Order fans, posed for the very first print public service announcement (PSA) for Little Shelter. At the photo session, the wisecracking detective proved to be a softy when it comes to dogs and cats. Look for the PSA to appear in the New York Post and the Daily News as well as national magazines such as Entertainment Weekly and Ladies Home Journal — all absolutely free of charge to Little Shelter. And if you're driving around Long Island or in the city, you will notice the Richard Belzer PSA in the ad space on the top of lots of taxi cabs, thanks to the generosity of ClearChannel Outdoor.
It is almost time for Little Shelter's huge Night in Monte Carlo, and big things are happening here as well. Fabulous silent auction items are being delivered every day, including a men's suit from designer John Bartlett, an exquisite piece of jewelry, certificates for an oil portrait of your pet, two tickets to Broadway's Sweeney Todd, and a day of photography, luxurious skin care products, and more. Check back for additions to the list. And donāt forget to buy your tickets.
