The weather was hot, but the items we had for sale at our first annual summer Flea Market and Book Fair, held on Saturday, June 7, were even hotter! The scorching weather didn’t keep those that like to find a good bargain away, and many people came to browse the exciting array of the ‘usual and unusual’ that was available for purchase. People stocked up on their summer reading, others redecorated their house with great household items, and more still decided to get fit and purchased bicycles or other exercise equipment. Whatever their taste, we had something to suit everyone. The day was a huge success, raising much needed funds for our animals, and we are looking forward to our next flea market and book fair which will be held in the Fall. Start cleaning out now and make room for all of the exciting items you’re sure to buy!
