The Little Shelter Foster Program

We need foster parents to care for both young and old dogs and cats until they are ready to come back to Little Shelter and be adopted.

Foster parents are needed to house and care for orphan kittens and puppies by bottle feeding and socializing them, to house and love a dog or cat with her puppies or kittens, and to house and care for dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies that may need an extra boost of attention and love.

Become a foster parent and save lives!

If you live on Long Island and are interested in becoming a foster parent, call Little Shelter at 631-368-8770 or email us at info@littleshelter.com.

If you live elsewhere, seek out your local human organization to find out if they have a similar program.
