It’s
an all too common epidemic – cats born in the wild and forced to brave the
elements along with everything else Mother Nature has to throw at them.
When a Good Samaritan found Kitty and her brother Baby, she knew they needed
help and she turned to Little Shelter. Both of these little one’s had such
severe eye infections and it was obvious they had been in distress for quite
some time. We immediately took them in and sought medical treatment.
Unfortunately for Kitty, her infection was so advanced, and one eye was
damaged beyond repair. For Kitty’s well-being, she underwent surgery and
had her damaged eye removed. Most shelters would have declined to help
Kitty and her brother, but we knew we couldn’t leave them outside to die a
long, painful death. You can help us make a difference in the lives of
animals like Kitty and her brother. How? It’s simple!

medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
