When we rescued Serena Rose from the town shelter, we didn’t care about her missing patches of hair, all we knew was that she needed us.  To the trained eye, it was obvious that there was an underlying condition causing the hair loss, and veterinary tests confirmed what we suspected – Serena Rose was suffering from a common condition called Cushing’s Disease.  Any condition with the word ‘disease’ following it, strikes fear into the hearts of most people, and Serena’s chances of being getting out of that shelter alive were very slim.  Once a confirmed diagnosis was made, Serena was started on a regimen of medication to treat her disease, and given a second chance at life.  Serena Rose will require daily medication for the rest of her life, but that is a small price to pay for saving the life of such a wonderful gal.  We saved a life – you can save a life too!  Help us help others like Serena Rose – click below to make a generous donation today!
